Conor and Aine, along with their friends and family, must endure hardships that they thought were over. They also must come to grips with increasing evil, and that their personal plans may not come about. Throughout the book, there is not only a great story, but faith, hope, and love.<\/p>\n

Laureano did a great job of creating a story that is easy to understand, and that holds your attention. I had trouble putting the book down without trying to squeeze in a few more pages, or chapters. But, it holding my interest is just part of what makes it so good.<\/p>\n

The story holds an illustration for Christians. Though the names and terms are different, you can clearly see the characters’ dependence on God. They make mistakes, and are not always obedient, but they realize Comdiu’s (God’s) mercy, love, and grace. They are willing to put aside what they want for what He wants.<\/p>\n

Beneath the Forsaken City<\/em> is well written, and there are plenty of plot twists that keep it exciting.<\/p>\n
