Knowing He exists is a part of it, but is it possible to really know Him? Even though we cannot fully know or understand God and His ways, He has given us the Bible to let us learn about Him. In <em>The TouchPoint<\/em>, we see how we can trust the Bible to show us God&#8217;s eternal truths.<\/p>\n<p>God gave us the Bible so that we could better know Him. Is it right to blindly accept this and not have firm reasons for believing what the Bible says? Bob Santos writes that mindlessly accepting any religious text can be dangerous. We need to know why we believe what God says, especially for when someone asks.<\/p>\n<p>Santos covers many aspects of trusting the Bible as God&#8217;s inspired word, including how archeology supports it and that the oldest manuscripts we have are reliable. He does not get deep into these topics as the point of the book is for us to connect with God through the Bible. To that end, the book covers understanding the Bible, and addresses some of the more popular aids people use. Journaling, memorization, singing, meditating on the scripture, as well as choosing a translation are all touched on.<\/p>\n<p><em>The TouchPoint<\/em> provides a good foundation for studying God&#8217;s word.
