Trevor had hoped to get back to some semblance of a normal life, and to build a relationship with the daughter that he thought was gone. Instead, he finds himself in another spiritual battle. Though his faith is tested, he learns how to more fully trust God even when evil seems unstoppable.<\/p>\n

Craig Parshall is able to take a subject that not everyone wants to think about, and write a story that not only shows how real it is, but holds your attention throughout the book. Though spiritual warfare has garnered more attention in churches in recent years, many Christians don’t realize how prevalent it is. The Empowered<\/em> is a good way to bring this issue to the forefront so that more people can understand how important it is to know about.<\/p>\n

Besides dealing with such an important subject, this book is enjoyable to read. It’s easy to relate to the characters and their struggles, and the plot moves along well. In fact, I didn’t want to put it down, even when I had to. I continually looked for times that I could read another chapter, or two.<\/p>\n
