First, it is enjoyable to read. The plot moves along well and the characters are easy to picture and relate to . Lillian Duncan did a good job of making them realistic.

I like books that are hard to quit reading, and this one definitely fits that description. I read the first chapter and then wanted to read as much as I could.

Trusting God for guidance and provision is very evident in the plot. Though Holly had gotten lost in the rush and cares of a famous lifestyle, she returns to her roots of faith. When the characters talk about their faith, it sounds like it really is a part of how they live, not a show they put on.

The only thing that I would be able to say against the book is that I was sorry to see it end. I liked that it finished on a happy note, but it was such a good story that I wasn’t ready for it to be over.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Country music star Destiny returns to a place from her childhood, and her real name of Holly Stone, to avoid a stalker that has been threatening her.
