I already liked Davis Bunn, so I was excited to start Outbreak<\/em>. His books have been ones that I wanted to read through without stopping, and this one was no different. After the first chapter, I was intrigued. After the second chapter, I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to put it down anytime soon.<\/p>

With a mix of science, mystery, and suspense, the plot is fast paced and entertaining. The characters and their personalities are described well, and you can imagine what they would be like if you met them. Events and you can picture what is going on without any trouble. For me, it was easy to visualize what unfolded just like I was actually seeing it happen.<\/p>

I like that there is an underlying message in the book. Theo learns that some of his opinions about family are not as permanently set as he thought. The themes of forgiveness and trust are both woven into the plot. Though I enjoy reading books that hold my attention, being able to have a positive attribute, like forgiveness, reinforced makes it that much better.<\/p>
