Erin Lorence’s attention to detail makes it easy to imagine the events as you read them and paints a clear picture of the characters.<\/p>
Besides the great story, I enjoyed seeing the messages about following God that were part of the personalities of the people. Both sides, Christian and non-believer, were represented. Even the struggles Christians face in obeying God when opposition comes were included. I could relate to several of the issues faced, especially Dove’s problem of saying the wrong things or using the wrong wording.<\/p>
The ideas of faith in God, trusting others, and caring for the lost were evident in the plot. All together, the book is a good illustration of how we can start inserting our own opinions and desires in place of seeking God’s will. I look forward to reading the next books in the series.<\/p>
