As people rises to war under the evil influence of a black dragon, others in the land must put aside differences and doubt to stop the darkness from overtaking everything.<\/p>

I read the summary of this book and wanted to read it since it is a genre I like to read. Though the plot is good, I wasn’t able to get into it. The story had adventure and generally moved well, it just seemed to be words on a page instead of something that I could immerse my imagination in. <\/p>

The places and characters are well detailed, maybe a bit too well in some places. I think shortening some of the description segments would have helped the story from slowing down at times. I also think that removing the edgier parts, like describing how little clothing was worn and the several cuss words, would make the book better.<\/p>

Dragon’s Fire<\/em> has potential, but it needs some polishing. The positive messages of faith, forgiveness, and putting aside differences are there, but they can get lost among everything else.<\/p>
