It started out pretty good with characters that fit what I would have pictured. However, it seemed like the story began to drag on about halfway through. In my opinion, it had too much detail and events that, while they fit into the plot, kept it from moving along smoothly.<\/p>
I understand that Christians were mocked before Constantine made Christianity acceptable, but several of the lines said by the characters toed the line of decency and morality, while others stepped clear over it. I don’t think language like that is fitting anymore, especially in a Christian story.<\/p>
On the surface, this story isn’t all bad, but there are aspects of it that keep me from calling it a good book.<\/p>
