The whole passage is good, but verse 10 is my favorite of them, and it frequently comes to mind.<\/p>\n<p>God is speaking through Malachi, telling the Israelites to stop turning away to chase false gods, and their own selfish desires. He tells them to turn back and quit robbing Him. They, like I&#8217;m sure many of us would, ask how they are robbing Him. God answers by telling them that they are not giving Him the ten percent He told them to.<\/p>\n<p>Then, God gives them what I consider to be a dare. He tells them to bring the 10% into His house, and see what happens. To me, it&#8217;s like God is saying, &#8220;I dare you, bring in your tithe and see what I do for you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>How often have I found myself trying to get out from under this dare?
