We tend to see archeology as a group of people digging in dirt, finding something, and writing a report. Maybe that is why we like stories of globe-hopping, danger facing digs. Serpent of Moses by Don Hoesel fits in with that genre.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Hawthorne is searching for the staff that God directed Moses to make when the Israelite camp was invaded by snakes. Initially, he only wants to find it for the money and the glory he will get out of it. However, as things begin to seemingly fall apart, and people want to capture Jack, or do even worse to him, he starts to realize that he needs to reconsider how he rates his priorities. In the end, he finally understands that there is more to life than glory and money. He comes to grips with the fact that the faith he proclaimed should be more central to his life.<\/p>\n<p>There is plenty of adventure to keep you turning pages. Added to that is intrigue, some comedy, danger, faith, and even some romance.
