Sometimes, my posts are based on the title. The title comes up, and then a post may flow from that. That is pretty rare. Most of the time, there is a concept in place, and it gets fleshed out. This is not one of those times.<\/p>\n

I haven’t written in a while, but it wasn’t for want of a thought. I didn’t have any inclination to write. I logged on today to write some little ditty about not posting, but something else popped into mind. Now for the fun part of seeing what develops.<\/p>\n

I was having 1.5 way dialogue earlier. It just included myself, and I’m not able to call it a 2 way dialogue because of that. I was talking through what I would like to say to someone who took a point of view that if you disagreed, then it was a personal attack on their person or family. I don’t know of anyone like that, but I, and a lot of others, take that point of view at times.<\/p>\n

I like talking through situations with myself. I don’t have to explain the situation to an outsider and I can control all the vocal variables. But that isn’t the point.<\/p>\n

Why do we, or to be specific, why do I, take things so personally? If someone wants a different kind of cake than I planned, why is it such a big deal? All I have to do is open a different box. I realize there are more complex issues than cake, but most of them are not as important as we want them to be.<\/p>\n

That’s why our morals need to based on an outside rule set, in this case, God’s rules. If things were based on what I thought, then morals could and would fluctuate. God alone is unwavering; we all have a bit of wishy-washy-ness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
