Sorry People

I have been in leadership roles before. I think that at least some people would be willing to use the word sorry to describe my leadership ability. You can read about my opinion on my leadership here, and I won’t get into that in this post.

I myself would use the word sorry to describe my terms as a leader. I’m not good at it, nor do I see myself getting much better. There are things I can improve on, but not a whole lot of them exist. I think sorry fits in another way, too.

I’m sorry I tried a few of the roles. I had no business doing it, and I think it was more for the recognition than anything else.

I’m sorry for some of the things I did. I can look back and see actions that I shouldn’t have done, or at lease done differently.

I can also see things that I should have done, but shied away from. Mainly, this was out of fear of failing or offending someone.

Why do you care about all of this? Maybe you don’t, but I don’t want to look back on my Christian life and call it sorry. I don’t want to be sorry for not doing things or for doing things. I know that is going to be a tough line to walk, but I want to. With God’s grace, it can be done. As long as He leads.
