Just a quick thought that I only fully realized this morning. Last night at our youth Bible study, we found out something important as to why we had one person that we had some difficulty with (mainly losing focus on what was going on). An issue they face causes what we were seeing. Now, we know enough to quit fighting the symptoms, and address the underlying issue.

Isn’t it amazing how much we keep trying to fix the surface, without even attempting to dig deep enough to find out what is really happening? We scrub and scrub the outside of the cup, and never think to remove the dirt from the inside so that the cup will stay clean. We fuss at things we see others do, without going to them to find out the truth.
