Radical Squared

What would happen if we took a look at our lives, and made big changes in how we live for Christ? If we changed what we think being a Christian means, and who is capable of showing that to others? David Platt poses those types of questions in The Radical Question and A Radical Idea.

Two books combined into one, they both have a large impact. What do we do with what God has given us? Do we pile our successes in a closet and live off them as the years go on? Or do we take them and invest them in God’s kingdom? When we think of the Church, our first thoughts tend toward buildings, but the Church is made of people, and that includes us. Are we living like that?

What about in our church families, do we rely on someone else to make disciples? Do we bait people and get them in the door, just to hand them off to another person and not get our hands dirty? All of us are called to go make disciples, not just a select few.

This is a small and short book, but is packs a lot to make you reconsider what your Christian walk is like, and what it should be. It is one to read, and pass on.

I received this book from Waterbrook Multnomah in exchange for this review.
