Clean eyes
When I was a kid, I did not see a big need to clean my glasses. I could always see through them, though Mom wondered how I could with the nice layer of dust on them. I guess they were close enough to my eyes that I could look passed the dirt. Now that I am older, I clean my glasses regularly, and can see through them much better.
Not all of us wear glasses, but we all have to keep our vision clean. Looking at dirt, not the kind on the ground outside, but the bad things that you know better than to look at, will cloud our vision.
The eyes are generally called the window to the soul. Just like a room window, if darkness is allowed through the window constantly, it will affect the light in the room. Look at it this way, if you watch a movie full of bad language and violence, keep an eye on how you start treating and wanting to respond to other people.
All of us need to clean our eyes, or more accurately, ask God to clean them.
