As I ponder, which I tend to do if not engaged in any kind of activity, I drift from one thought to another. Just recently, the tide of thoughts washed over the reviews that I put here. If you’ve read them, and there will be more in the future, you may notice that they are done because I got the book for free and promised I’d review it.

That got me to wondering, are other people going to think I’m selling out? Do I think I’m selling out? Am I selling out? Should I be writing this down? I can answer that last one.

I have been reviewing books for around a year now, and I have joined other teams since then. Why? Well, I like to read, and my wallet cannot keep up with my reading speed. I could go to the library, but many of the books I’m reading aren’t available there. Plus, I have to return them, so I wouldn’t have them on hand to reference or loan out. So, am I selling out, or not?

I don’t think so, and here is why. I have to earn the books. The companies don’t just send them to me. I have to read them and then think about them. After that, I have to put my thoughts in a logical order. Hard, no, but is all work hard?
