I have noticed many popular Christian songs are containing sounds that repeat in place of words. I hear more whoa, oh. la, and na, among other ones. Some people (including myself at times), might consider this to be uncreative. I don’t know that you can always call those words.

On the other hand, when you sing of God, there aren’t words that fully describe Him. We don’t have the adjectives to match His majesty. Something to think about next time you get one of those song parts stuck in your head.
