Kings Falling

The Book of Wars is still at the forefront of Reaper’s mission, but that is complicated by having to stop an organization that plans to usurp Bible prophecy. Leif has his own struggles with trying to keep his objectives clear while finding out what happened in the time span he can’t remember.

Kings Falling continues the series and the action. Ronie Kendig’s writing grabs your attention and holds onto it. Her use of appropriate terminology and the right mix of action and suspense keep you turning pages. When I reached the last page, I was still wanting more to read. I look forward to next book so that I can see what happens. She is good at describing the characters so that they are easy to imagine, both what they look like and how they act. You can picture being in the room with them and seeing them interact with each other.

Throughout the fight to stay ahead of their enemies, and the trouble that goes with that, Reaper faces problems that test their trust others and team members. They learn that some of the people they thought they knew are not what they seem. These twists add to the suspense and keep you wondering how things are going to turn out.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
