The categories have a short introduction to explain what you will find in them, and how the words still apply to us today.

Scott did a great job compiling the verses into this book. He recommends using it as a quick reference or family topical study. I think that it could also be used as part of a devotional time. I believe it is a great addition to your library when you are looking to know God better.
