This is a revised edition of Walter Martin’s work, written to include updates on the original. The history of each cult, founders and other important people, and how their doctrines differ from Christianity are outlined. Responses on what the Bible says versus the false doctrines are given so that you can be ready if you ever have an opportunity to talk with a cult member.

Though it focuses on the cults, there is more than just that. Ways to identify a cult, how to be careful when speaking to a cult member, so that you don’t lose the opportunity to share the gospel with them, and other general information are included.

This isn’t a book that most people can sit down and read all the way through. It is extensive and full of information. Even with all the information, it is well organized and easy to understand. It is written so that you don’t have to have a theology degree to use it. Knowing how cults differ in their beliefs lets you be better able to recognize the problems and talk with people about them.
