When Mountains Won’t Move

When Jesus told His disciples that, if they had faith as small as a mustard seed, they could tell a mountain to move, and it would, that gave us great hope. However, we can get discouraged when we try to use that today and it doesn’t work. What then? Jacob Hawk looks into what we need to do when Mountains Won’t Move.

We know that Jesus did not and does not lie, so finding out our mountains, or struggles, don’t get up and move when we tell them to can sow doubt. This doubt can lead to questioning our faith and, at times, whether God is pleased with us. Hawk explains what we need to do when this happens, and that no immediate results are not definite proof that we are wrong.

When Mountains Won’t Move provides practical advice for when we struggle in our faith, and none of it is real hard. Some of what Hawk says is to look at what God has already done, commit to serve Him and others, talk with other Christians, and continue to trust God. Though this is a short book, it has a lot of help in it.

The book itself is easy to read, and doesn’t take long to get through. It would be a good book to keep handy for when your struggles start to seem insurmountable. It would also be a good book to share with others that are having the same trouble.

I received a free copy of this book as part of the BookCrash program in exchange for this review.
