Possible

I don’t think anyone would disagree that there are a lot of problems in the world. A glance at headlines shows violence, hunger, slavery, and many other events that affect people. Nearly all of us would like to do something, but we often consider ourselves unfit to do anything. After all, how would one person be able to change the world? Stephan Bauman says it is time to change our perspective, and make world changing Possible.

Bauman writes that we need to look at change differently. One of the biggest things is that we need to start looking at how we can help others spur a change in their circumstances. For example, instead of just giving a village food, help them to learn how to grow food on their own. We are quick to seek short term solutions, which are necessary, but we cannot forget the long term solutions that are just as necessary.

Bauman provides steps to help you see what part you can play in changing the world. Though we like to excuse ourselves by saying we aren’t capable of doing anything, all of us have gifts, talents, and abilities that can be used. God is in the business of change, and He wants to use us, His people that He created in His image, to effect that change.

I received a free copy of Possible in exchange for this review.
