I’m the type of person that really wants to know what is going on, preferably, before it even happens. For example, if I am driving someplace, I plot out the exact route, either online if I haven’t been there before, or in my head if I have already traveled to it. It really doesn’t matter how many times I’ve been there, I still do this.

If I am working on a project, I end up spending a good deal of time researching the end goal and the process so that I don’t get surprised by anything. Granted, it doesn’t always help, but I try.

I try to do that in life, too. But I have found out that I am not being realistic when I try that. We don’t know what will happen in the future. Yes, God will sometimes give us a heads up, but not all the time, and especially not every time we ask.
