Many devotionals are hard for people to connect to their daily lives. It isn’t that the devotions are bad, it is just that people are different. Jonathan Malm decided to write a devotional for the creative side, still theologically correct, but made to encourage the creativity given by God. Created for More is meant to bring you in line with God’s will while pushing you to do more with what He has given you.

God-honoring creativity is often talked about, but Created for More goes beyond that. Malm explains why we should use the gifts provided by God, and does so in a way that appeals to the creative and non-creative alike. With each devotion, he gives challenges and ways to try applying the lesson to your life.

Two thoughts stuck with me, even after moving to the next day, be ready to fail and be limited. I know that failing is going to happen, but getting passed that voice that hounds when you try something can be hard. Both failing and limitations require that you depend wholly on God for strength.

Though set up to be read over the course of 30 days, it has a Table of Contents that you could use to change up your daily reading. Each day only takes a few minutes to read, but gives you plenty to go through the day with.
