If you have any kind of furry house pet that spends time outdoors, you probably have to deal with fleas. They usually are just annoying, but can spread disease. Either way, I don’t know anyone who likes them. No matter how many treatments you try, I don’t believe it is possible to eradicate every single flea in the house. You pretty much just have to keep after them.

Hold on for the course change…

Fleas are a good illustration of sin. Oh sure, one isn’t that bad (I know even one sin is unacceptable, I’m just making a point). They never stop there. One flea, or one sin, leads to another. Soon, you’re surrounded.

Not only that, fleas and sin both suck the life out of you. One is physical, or is spiritual.

There is also the irritation they cause. Flea bites itch. Sin changes how you act. It might be a lie to cover up something else or you might get angry and treat others badly. There is no way around it, you’re sin will affect others.

I’m glad the treatment for sin is much more effective than flea treatments. Jesus blood takes care of our debt. One life for all lives.
