Soul Raging

Leif Metcalfe has been through a lot, and is learning that things have not always been as he thought they were. He is still determined to stop the final war that was prophesied in the Book of Wars, but he now has to question what his role is going to be. His friends are equally concerned because of what they learn about Leif’s abilities. All of this leads to an exciting story in a great series.

In the third book of the series, Ronie Kendig skillfully weaves a story that has many facets, but comes together cleanly. As it progresses, you can start to form ideas about how it will end, but she includes several twists that keep you unsure about how it will all turn out. I was drawn into the book and was intent on learning how it everything was resolved.

Besides having such an interesting plot, the book also illustrates trusting through difficult times and standing up for what you know is right. Many characters had to make tough choices that pitted personal comfort versus a greater good.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
