Strait of Hormuz

Sent to a neutral country off the record, Marc Royce finds himself in an ever stranger fight against an assault that isn’t what it seems. Added to that is the appearance of a past love, and the problem of finding the help he needs. All of this is related in Strait of Hormuz, Davis Bunn’s latest book.

Royce must solve the puzzle of an attack that seems to be directed against America, but the pieces don’t fit together like he expects them to. After seeing the woman he loved, but had to let go, painful memories and desires resurface. On top of that, he has to find people he can trust, and has to stay out of trouble with the authorities.

Along the way, his faith is rekindled, and he meets others that share his faith, and help with his mission.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Strait of Hormuz. The plot was both realistic and easy to follow, plus it kept my attention. I actually found myself looking at the clock to see if I had time for one more chapter before I had to quit reading. The only drawback I found to it was that I was wanting more when I reached the end of the book.

I received a free copy of this book from Bethany House in exchange for reading and reviewing it.
