I missed out on reading the first book in the series, but now I’m going to have to get a hold of it. Within the first few pages of this one, I was hooked and didn’t want to stop reading. The action is fast paced and intriguing. The characters are well described and easy to imagine. It was both exciting and a little sad to reach the end of the story.

Throughout the book, Roger’s faith guides him, and influences other people. He serves as an example of what it looks like to trust God, regardless of what situations you might encounter.
