Aliens are popular today, movies and books have come out that have people talking about them all the time. Many believe that it is just a matter of time before the first contact is made. Or the first invasion wave comes. With all the popularity, it can be easy to get caught up in the hype, but David J. Gonzalez explains why aliens are still fiction in There Are No Space Aliens!

The most common reason I’ve heard for aliens is that the universe is too big Earth to be the only planet with life. Gonzalez presents 12 reasons based on scripture against alien life, especially human-like life. A few of the reasons include that Adam’s sin would affect aliens, as it has affected creation itself, God didn’t make provisions for aliens, nor mention them in the Day of Judgement, and that they would have no way to hear of salvation.

Each reason is explained thoroughly and backed up with verses to show the biblical basis. I did not have any trouble understanding the basic concepts, it is written in a clear manner. However, I am not sure that I follow all of his reasoning. I believe this is mainly due to the way I think and process information.

Gonzalez covers many different aspects that present a problem for alien life to exist, and provides good foundations for having discussions with other people. With the plan of salvation included, it would be a handy book to share with people you know that are looking for the truth that is out there.
