Matter of Opinion

Before we get started with my usual ramblings, I’d like you to think about something. How do you read 1 Pt?

You might only see that meaning one thing, or several things might come to mind. I can see it as 1 Peter, 1 pint, and 1 point (font size). There might be others if I put the time into looking, but those three will do for now.

Depending on the situation, I will read 1 Pt based on what I am looking at. A theological mindset means it will be 1 Peter. Cooking or typing will lead to one of the others. Two people can look at the same thing, and see something different. Neither one has to be wrong in that case.

Why are we so quick to believe we’re right if someone disagrees? I know that there are instances that only have one right answer. We are only saved by grace through faith in Jesus. But if I don’t like kumquats, that doesn’t mean I wrong. Maybe it just means that you can have my share.
